hello....
saya baru balik dr Jusco Bukit Tinggi , Klang...
awal2 pagi keluar rumah ...semangat nk tengok movie Confessions of A Shopaholic... :)

the movie starts at 12.10pm...
surprisingly...
tak ramai dalam panggung !!!
hmmm...
maybe tak ramai tengok kat sini or masih awal pagi...
org belum bangun...
hahaha... ~sbb masa nak balik ptg td dh ramai org dh kt TGV tu... ~

so...
hmmm...
how's the movie??

well...
apa yg boleh saya cakap...
it's not up to my expectation lah...
saya bayangkan movie tu sangat sangat best , menarik , seperti dalam buku dia...
sejak saya kenal dengan buku2 Shopaholic dari Sophie Kinsella nih , dalam 3 tahun lepas , saya dah beberapa kali baca...
dan sebulan sebelum movie nih keluar , saya khatam lagi sekali untuk ingatkan balik scene2 dlm buku tu...
dan itu membuatkan saya sangat tak sabar nak tgk movie ni...
nak tgk kekecohan , ke'kelam-kabutan' , keghairahan bershopping Becky...
nak tgk ketampanan Luke , keseriusan , kematangan , ke'ego'an & kecintaan dia kat Becky...
nak tgk semangat kekawanan (is there any such word?? ) Suze...
nak tgk 'pergaduhan' kecil Mr & Mrs Bloomwood...
nak tgk ke'busy body-an' Janice & Martin , Becky's parents' neighbor...
nak tgk keprihatinan , kelembutan & keperamahan Derek Smeath...
dan yang paling penting ,
nak tgk scarf Denny & George yang menjadi detik-detik cinta antara Becky & Luke...

tapi setelah menonton movie tersebut...
saya agak sedikit kuciwa !!
huuu...
ia tidak seperti yang saya harapkan...

seperti yang kita tahu,
movie tu adalah garapan dari buku 'Confessions of A Shopaholic' & 'Shopaholic Takes Manhattan' ...
jadi banyak benda yang ditinggalkan...
banyak scene2 menarik yang tak difilemkan...
~ baiklah...seperti kakak saya kata...ye lah...biasala...kalau buat movie mmg tak sama mcm dalam buku dia...~

jalan cerita pun lain !!!
dalam buku , Luke ada sebuah syarikat PR yang sangat established...
tiba2 , Luke kerja kat sykt. magazine pula...
& dia tak seperti yang saya bayangkan...hahaha

Suze pula , saya tak sangka dia sangat 'gila-gila' smpi mcm tu skali...
saya tau mereka gila2 & pelik...
tp taklah sepelik seperti dalam filem ini... :P

Derek Smeath pula...
dalam buku , beliau seorg yang tegas , tp sangat baik hati , memahami , agak berumur , dan penyayang...
dalam movie , errr...kenapa dia malukan Becky dlm Morning Coffee???

& Morning Coffee pula,
article yang Becky tulis adalah lain !!!
mana pergi konflik2 dalam buku ???

Scarf Denny & George pula ,
alahaiiii...
mcm selendang RM10 tu je...
huhuh...
saya bayangkan scarf tu sgt mewah , cantik & lain dari yang lain lah...
tapi...
hanya selendang hijau???
huhuhuh...
~ masa baca buku , yang time Becky lelong scarf tu & pass kan sendiri kat wanita berbaju pink , saya menangis ok ! hahaha... ~



but anyhow...
the movie was still okay , funny & enjoyable...
but for someone who has read the novels , it's quite frustating-lah...
it could be a lot better than that...
but as long as the original writer (Sophie Kinsella) is okay with the movie , than what can I say more , right?

well...
this review is only from my point of view...
I don't know about others...
but I've read Wani's entry regarding this movie & she felt the same as I do...
how about the other Shopaholic Series followers??
what do you think abt the movie?



and anyway...
since this movie was based on both 'Confessions of A Shopaholic' & 'Shopaholic Takes Manhattan' novels ,
I wonder if there would be any movie on 'Shopaholic Takes Manhattan' itself...
or maybe they'll just skip that and do the 'Shopaholic Ties The Knot' instead...
hmmm...
let's just wait & see...
& when would that be???
huhuhuh...
I can't wait anymore...
I wanna see more...!

I give the movie 3 stars out of 5...

p/s : anda tahu apa yang saya fikir ? saya tergelak sendiri bila tgk watak2 dlm movie ni...saya gelakkan sbb mereka 'berangan' nak jd Becky , Suze seperti dalam buku yang famous itu...huhuhu...jahat kan saya...haha... tp Isla Fisher sgt comel la... ;)

kalau saya tak pernah baca novel dia , saya rasa mmg saya akan suka sgt movie nih...
mcm Harry Potter , saya tak pernah baca novel dia , & saya suka giler ngn movie dia...tp saya pernah dengar dr mereka yang pernah baca novel Harry Potter , mereka tak berapa suka dgn movie nya...
cerita P.S I Love U juga begitu...dan lain2 filem yang diadaptasi dr novel asal...
so kesimpulannya , jika anda dengar ada novel yg nak difilemkan dan anda dah baca novel itu & anda sgt suka dgn novel itu , anda janganlah meletakkan harapan yang tinggi untuk filemnya...
huuu...sadis gila...

jgn salah sangka ya...
jika anda belum pernah membaca novel2 Shopaholic ini , anda mmg harus pergi menonton filem ini...
mmg best & seronok !!!

so , ok...
after the movie ,my sister & I went for lunch at Pastamania...
I've been eyeing this shop for years ago since my first visit (or was it the second one?) to Pavillion...
but last time , I wasn't sure if the shop is Halal or not , but I've read one of the bloggers entry recently saying that the shop is Halal and has the certificate from singapore...
so confidently we went there & the foods was great !
I had Creamy Chicken Fettucine for myself , Spicy Chicken Fusili for my sister...


after eating half of them , suddenly I saw a kid near the shop throwing up on the floor...
& the mother was tapping his back somemore & mind you , it was in the middle of the walking lane where people are moving around (but there was nobody walking there at that time) but couldn't the mother take the child to toilet or ,okay , maybe the toilet was far away , but she should take him somewhere at a corner instead lah !!! don't throw up dekat tengah-tengah jalan tu !!!
& please bear in mind , I haven't finish with my food yet !! and suddenly my 'creamy sauce' smells 'that thing' ! uweekkk... !
I could've stop eating if I want but that pasta cost me RM15.90 so I have to finish them... :P
so I put some chilli flakes to cover up the 'smelly creamy' taste...but my seat was facing straight to 'that thing' so I couldn't finish them up... hurrghh... what a waste !
instead , I ate my sister's hot & spicy pasta to get rid of 'that' taste in my throat... :P
& there were a few people walking at 'that place' after that & they didn't notice 'that thing' that they step on it...eeuwww !! so disgusting !!



then we continued shopping there...
I was searching for a present for my Chef as she is transferring to other college this Tuesday...and I've got it...
but there were 2 incidents happened at 2 different shops ...

at the 1st shop , before the movie started , I went to a gift / souvenir shop & was holding 4 long handphone / ID straps with 4 different colors...

I wanted all of them but I know I won't wear them all but I want them...so I was holding & thinking for a while & then the SA came with a basket to put my things...I want to hold the basket but he said "it's ok , I can hold it for u" then I put all the straps in it then he put it at the cashier... (eyh...I haven't decided lah which one to take...but...hmm...it's ok lah...I'll buy all...hahahaha...) so that would be RM32..but the SA told me that if I spend more than RM50 , I get a free membership which entitles me to 10% discount next time...so I was excited & went searching for other things to buy to reach that RM50...but I couldn't find anything that interest me...so I paid only RM32.. ~huh...naseb baik...selamat duhet aku...haha...bukan slalu pergi situ pun...rugi ja nanti..haha...~

2nd souvenir shop :
my total purchase was RM44...& again the SA told me if I spend more than RM50 , I could enter a lucky draw with a grand prize , a trip to taiwan for 2 or second prize , a trip to Bali , or other little things as consolation prizes...so I thought , okay...that would be another Rm6 only & I bought wrapping papers...& I have to draw one lucky number from the box & I got no 37 which is , obviously , not the grand prize !! :P the 'hadiah' was a handphone strap , YES , a strap again ! but this one is the shorter one...but okay lah...I was looking for one too...& it's RED...ok.. acceptable...hadoiii... again...I've wasted my money ...but , luckily I bought wrapping papers which I know I will use them in the future...huh...
I wonder if there is No 1 or 2 in that 'lucky box'...hmmm...

And also , I bought a shoulder bag !!
hehehe...
